Welcome

Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy your visit. I feel very fortunate to be able to share my passion for music, poetry and art.

A creative child is a challenge, but fortunately my mother had the ability to channel my creative spirit into storytelling, singing, writing, drawing and painting. With an old glued together guitar I wrote my first song at the age of 12. I went on to win $2.00 in an amateur contest.

I continued to dabble in art while I was working and raising children. Once I reached my 60's my focus returned to my artistic interests. I was fortunate to have the encouragement of my family. I received a guitar for Christmas one year that was just the inspiration I needed to start song writing again.

I released my first CD at the age of 70. Now in my mid 70's I have released my second music CD and a book of poetry. I have also returned to painting and have painted scenes, wildlife and portraits. I am currently writing my memoirs, "If These Walls Could Talk", about my cabin days in Chandos Ontario.

I consider myself to be a "late bloomer". I hope that I can inspire others to follow their dreams, regardless of their age.

Different Paths

She sings of young love and summers past.
He sings of green fields and battles won.
She races with the moon on warm summer nights.
He dreams of gold and labours in the noonday sun.
She swims with Dolphins, he with Whales.
But both have braved fierce winter gales.
